Labour Day Camp - Some key details

Volunteering on our Labour Day Camp: Some things you need to know...

This year our camp is held in partnership with Lentara UnitingCare Asylum Seeker Program. The participants of the camp are members of a women’s group and their children. The camp will be held at the Santa Monica Campsite, near Lorne.

Precamp day

The precamp day for this camp is held on Sunday 5 March at the Edmund Rice Centre in Amberley. Volunteers will meet each other and prepare for the their weekend together. This day runs from 11am to 5pm.

Camp starts at 3pm on Friday 10 March in Brunswick. Here we’ll meet the participants and take buses from Brunswick up to the campsite near Lorne. On Monday we’ll drop the participants back at Brunswick and then complete a final debrief, finishing camp at 5pm.

Extra help on Friday

We’ll need some help at the Edmund Rice Centre in Lower Plenty during the day on Friday 10 March. If you can help out, please let Adrian know at adrian@ercvic.com
